It was also immortalized in the cinema in the 60s by JEAN GABIN in Henri VERNEUIL’s film “A MONKEY IN WINTER”. The latter proudly displays it alongside Jean-Paul BELMONDO, on the beaches of Normandy.
100% BUREL Wool (820gr/m) from Portugal and more precisely from the mountainous region of Serra da Estrela.
Made from pure virgin sheep wool, durable and very resistant, this wool was once used by shepherds to make warm and waterproof capes very useful for the harsh climatic conditions of the mountains of northern Portugal.
The authenticity of BUREL results from a sequence of specific operations in the manufacturing process.
The wool after being sheared, washed, spun, put to the warping in the organ and woven on the loom, walked on a machine called a fuller, beating and scalding wool transforming the fabric (sees) in the bag, which makes it tighter, harder and waterproof.

Model slightly shorter than the 3/4 model of the 50s.

However, shipping costs will be added to the product prices specified and you should know:
- For a minimum order value of €100, we ship to addresses in Spain and Portugal and, for a minimum value of 250€, we ship to the rest of European Union for free.
- For order values below €100, we charge at least €5,23 per package to ship to addresses in Spain.
- For order values below €250 we charge at least 15€ for Germany, France and Italy.
- We charge a flat fee of 18€ for deliveries to the rest of EU.

Domestic returns, within Spain are free of charge.
International Returns, outside of Spain, the following conditions apply:
- Returns are free if you are exchanging for a different size or a product of equal value.
- If you are returning an item for a refund (not an exchange), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. These costs will be deducted from the total amount to be refunded.
